Particle collisions with large momentum transfer and coloured particles can be in principle computed using perturbative QCD.
However in this context it is possible that terms of order $\alpha_s^n L^m$, where $L$ is a large logarithm arise. Such terms originate from gluon emission where the energy is small in comparison to the large momentum transfer of the process. Non global observables are sensitive to such emissions. In my talk I will present how such contribution from single and double soft gluon emission could be resummed in a Monte Carlo simulation.
