2. Vorlesung im Rahmen der Erwin-Schrödinger-Gastprofessur 2026
After reminding the basic concept of Higgs near-criticality, strong bounds on the Higgs mass obtained recently will be discussed and compared within different contexts: the Majoron model and the axion-like particle (ALP) Lagrangian (the concept of axions and ALPs will be introduced previously). The ALP-SMEFT connection versus near-criticality will be discussed as well. Beyond the theoretical constructions, the expected impact at future colliders, flavour experiments and cosmological observations will be presented.
