Quantum Cube

Planning approval has been granted for the new research building for quantum physics – the Quantum Cube, which will be constructed in Courtyard 2 of the University of Vienna campus.

The general planning contract has been awarded to the architectural firm Delta Pods. Construction is scheduled to begin in late May 2026, with initial geotechnical investigations taking place in autumn 2025.
