During the 75th annual conference of the ÖPG, Marianne Korner was awarded the 2026 Roman Ulrich Sexl Prize. The prize aims to promote motivating and effective physics teaching. In Marianne Korner’s case, the prize was awarded for her long-standing commitment to supporting gifted pupils, the Austrian Physics Olympiad and the preparation of physics teams for international competitions.
