Assistant professorship for Thomas Juffmann

15.04.2019

‘The research group of Thomas Juffmann develops novel microscopy techniques, focussing on high sensitivity and low damage imaging of biological specimens.

In various imaging techniques (e.g. cryo-EM, iScat,…) it is crucial to extract as much information as possible per probe-particle-sample interaction. The in order to achieve this in both light and electron microscopy, the ‘Quantum Imaging and Biophysics’ group of Thomas Juffmann uses cavity enhancement, quantum enhancement, and wave-front shaping techniques.’
